Bikini Recipe
Makes enough for 10 servings
For the Clementine Cordial (produces 750ml)
300ml newly squeezed clementine juice
200ml newly squeezed lemon juice
500g granulated sugar
Ingredients for the Drink (produces 850ml, enough for 10)
400ml premium vodka
100ml classic gin
150ml peach-flavored liqueur
200ml clementine syrup (see above)
A few cranberries, to garnish
Mandarin essential oil, for finishing
Instructions
For the Cordial: Put the listed ingredients in a pan, heat until it reaches a light boil, agitating to dissolve. Then, take off the burner and let it to cool down fully. Transfer into an sterilised bottle, cap it and store in the fridge, it will last for up to a month.
To make Cocktail Base: Combine the specified liquids into one big jug, let it rest for one hour, then filter it best through a fine cloth, to ensure it's completely strained.
To serve: Pour 85ml of your batch mix to a mixing glass containing ice, and stir carefully for a minute until cold. Pour into an cold coupe glass or equivalent, decorate with the cranberries and complete it with a brief mist of mandarin oil over the drink.
